A 641.9 sq. ft. F&B fit-out for Old Chang Kee's flagship outlet along Mackenzie Road, Singapore. Gridline was tasked with translating one of Singapore's most beloved heritage snack brands into a physical retail and dining experience worthy of a flagship address.

The design balances nostalgia with modernity — honouring the brand's decades-long identity while delivering a space that feels fresh and considered for today's consumer. Clean lines, purposeful material choices, and a layout optimised for quick-service flow ensure the outlet performs as a functional operation without sacrificing character.

Compact at 641.9 sq. ft., every square foot was deliberately planned — from customer queuing and ordering to seating and back-of-house integration — ensuring the space works efficiently during peak periods without feeling cramped.

The result is a flagship interior that reflects the weight of the Old Chang Kee name while setting a new benchmark for the brand's retail experience in Singapore.
