This project involved the interior works for Sheng Siong Supermarket at Aljunied, covering a total area of 17,114.62 sq. ft. The scope was designed to support the operational efficiency, safety, and durability requirements of a high-volume retail environment.

The interior layout was planned to optimise customer circulation, product zoning, and operational workflow, ensuring clear sightlines and efficient movement throughout the store. Material and finish selections prioritised robustness, hygiene, and ease of maintenance, essential for supermarket operations with continuous foot traffic and frequent servicing.

Lighting and ceiling systems were coordinated to enhance product visibility and spatial clarity, while supporting energy efficiency and long-term performance. The works were executed with careful coordination to integrate with existing M&E and fire safety systems, ensuring compliance with commercial and retail regulations.

This project demonstrates Gridline’s capability in delivering large-scale retail interior projects, where technical planning, operational understanding, and execution quality are critical to commercial success.
